Gold Event of the Season

To mark the Gold Dinner occasion, Committee member and Jewellery Designer, Alina Barlow embraces all that is gold with an idea to create a glam-glittering gown . Approaching Designer Tanya Anic, the concept for the gold dress was developed with a custom-made fabric for the exclusive design.

To capture light with every movement and from every angle, the couture Gold Dress features a sheer, ethereal, glittering full skirt, cinched at the waist with sequined bodice. Tanya Anic developed the fabric with gold sequins of multiple shapes and sizes, coupled with bugle beads on gold tulle.

The under garment-pantsuit, a flesh-tone bodice with boning for a contouring fit, features shoulder straps and twisted ribbon tails.

The Gold Dinner, is The Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation premier event of the season raising funds and awareness for special facilities, medical equipment and treatment needed for children living with serious health conditions.

High-profile Business Executives, celebrities and influencers are part of the 2019 Committee Members including Monica Saunders-Weinberg, Alina Barlow, Julie Bishop, Guillaume Brahimi, Eva Galambos, Karl Stefanovic, Skye Leckie OAM, Chrissy Comino and more.

Dedicating their time, finances and leadership skills and sharing a vision for all children and their families to have access to the very best treatment available, the Committee for The Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation promote fundraising initiatives.
